About Simmer Coffee Who could use a 'shot in the dark' more than a student during finals week? On October 22, 2004, Tiana and Nathan Key did just that. Fulfilling a dream and refilling many cups of coffee, Simmer was started to create an inviting place for students and the community alike to gather. Although we are no longer on the campus we have enjoyed our opportunity to offer wonderful people good coffee while contributing a positive vibe to the campus.
